STEM Enrichment

Afterschool programs are increasingly recognized as playing a valuable role in improving science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. MACH’s STEM exploration teaches participants to think critically and use engineering or technology in imaginative designs or creative approaches to real-world problems while building on students’ mathematics and science base. MACH Academy, Inc. believe that students participating in our After-school STEM program will impact their problem solving abilities, career awareness and “21st Century skills” such as team work.

Character Education

Young people today are faced with more choices than previous generations. Every child must make some decisions daily without adult involvement. Therefore, students must be armed with the knowledge and moral compassion they need to make the right choices. Character Education sessions use the Six Pillars (Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship) in weekly hands-on activities to encourage students to always do the right thing.
