MACH Academy, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Tennis Pro to join our team in Augusta, GA. This role involves providing high-quality tennis instruction and coaching to players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tennis, excellent teaching and communication skills, and a passion for the sport. This position requires a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, promoting the physical and mental benefits of tennis, and contributing to the growth and success of our tennis programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group tennis lessons, ensuring a safe, productive, and enjoyable environment.
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to different skill levels.
- Organize and oversee tennis clinics, camps, and special events.
- Provide strategic coaching in competitive situations, including tournaments.
- Assess players’ skills and provide constructive feedback and technical advice.
- Stay updated with the latest tennis techniques, teaching methods, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other staff to promote and grow the tennis program.
- Engage with the tennis community in Augusta, GA, to attract new players and retain existing ones.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tennis Pro or similar role.
- Strong understanding of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with players of all ages and skill levels.
- Certification from a recognized tennis organization (e.g., USPTA, PTR) is preferred.
- Ability to organize and lead tennis programs and events.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current in the field.
